A wonderful tribute portrait

I contacted Alex to see if it would be possible for him to create a pencil portrait of my 2 grandads (one of which we only lost this year) for a Christmas present for my mum and dad. Both grandads were quite poorly in their last years of life so I wanted to have the sketch of them when they were healthier and happier around 15 years ago. The only thing was I’d have to use a picture of them from that time with other people in too, which obviously wasn’t the best quality for Alex to work from.
All I can say is wow. He has drawn me a picture of them both together with their arms around each other and it’s truly brilliant. Infact… I kind of want to keep it myself! The detail is great and I am over the moon with it. Thanks again Alex, you’ve really made this the best present I’ve ever had to give to someone. Jodie

The portrait Alex drew in pencil from a photo of my French Bulldog who sadly passed away last year with an injury was amazing…So lifelike & accurate …What more said I say..
